My work spans executive leadership, organizational development, disability inclusion, workforce development, governance, and community impact, united by a common belief: people thrive when systems are intentionally designed to support belonging, opportunity, and success.

Hi, I'm Whitney.
I'm an executive leader, educator, speaker, and systems-builder based in Austin, Texas. Throughout my career, I've been drawn to opportunities that sit at the intersection of strategy and people. Whether leading operations as a Chief Operating Officer, building a new Disability & Inclusion function from the ground up, designing workforce-development programs, or helping organizations navigate complex challenges, I am energized by the work of transforming ideas into sustainable results.
I believe meaningful change happens when vision is paired with structure, relationships are paired with accountability, and organizations commit to creating environments where people can fully participate and contribute.
My professional path has never followed a straight line, and that's one of its greatest strengths.
I began my career in community leadership and organizational operations, ultimately serving for seven years as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Pinnacle Texas Management Services. There, I worked across governance, strategic planning, operations, stakeholder engagement, personnel leadership, and community relations, helping organizations translate long-term goals into day-to-day execution.
Today, I serve as Disability & Inclusion Director at Shalom Austin, where I was hired as the inaugural employee of a newly established function. What began as an identified organizational and community need has grown into a strategic resource supporting multiple agencies, programs, and organizational priorities.
Along the way, I have designed programs, developed leaders, launched partnerships, built infrastructure, written policy, managed budgets, trained professionals, advised executives, collaborated with boards, and helped organizations create sustainable systems that endure beyond any one individual.

My leadership style is strategic, relational, transparent, and execution-oriented.
I am at my best in environments where success depends on influence rather than authority, collaboration rather than control, and long-term systems-building rather than short-term fixes.
I seek to understand before acting, build trust before leading change, and create solutions that are both practical and sustainable.
Across organizations, programs, and systems, I have consistently focused on identifying needs, developing solutions, aligning stakeholders, building infrastructure, and creating lasting organizational capacity.
Beyond My Professional Roles
Leadership doesn't begin and end with a job title.
Beyond my professional work, I serve in community leadership roles, support nonprofit and governance initiatives, contribute to educational and accessibility efforts, and remain actively involved in projects that strengthen participation and belonging throughout the community.
I currently serve as Access Director and Steering Committee Member for the 2027 Austin JCC Maccabi Games & Access, contribute through board service with Candlelight Ranch Foundation, and participate in educational and community advisory efforts across Austin ISD and other local mission-driven organizations.
These experiences continue to reinforce one of my core beliefs: meaningful impact is created through relationships, trust, and shared responsibility.

I'm a proud mom of three.
I live and work in Austin, Texas.
I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre and an MEd in Special Education.
My background in performance continues to influence my public speaking, facilitation, and leadership style.
I am endlessly fascinated by systems, strategy, organizational culture, and the ways people work together.
I firmly believe that nearly every situation can be improved with good coffee and thoughtful conversation.
